Our Story

The name Nissos is inspired by Nereid Nissos, one of the 50 daughters of Nireas and Oceanida Dorida.

According to mythology, the Nereids were nymphs who personified the states and characteristics of the sea and were worshiped as goddesses of the calm sea, who were friendly to humans.

Nissos had the islands under her jurisdiction and one of Poseidon’s natural satellites is named after her. So it could only be a source of inspiration for the name of our luxury residence in one of the most beautiful Greek islands, with rich history, wonderful landscapes and unique beaches.
